New curfew hours for Metro Manila to start May 1, new community quarantine classifications
All 17 mayors of the National Capital Region have agreed on new curfew hours for their respective cities and municipality effective May 1. The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) made the announcement on its Facebook page on Wednesday, April 28.
"Metro Manila mayors, through Resolution 21-09 Series of 2021, have unanimously agreed to adjust curfew hours starting May 1. New unified curfew hours will be from 10 pm to 4 am," the announcement said.

Maginhawa community pantry stops operations due to red-tagging fears
The community pantry which produced similar initiatives around the country will halt its operations and receiving of goods for those affected by the quarantines following what it called 'red-tagging' in some government social media pages.

Only 8% of P22.9-B financial assistance for ECQ beneficiaries disbursed, DSWD says
Only 8% of the allocated P22.9 billion in financial help was dispensed in the NCR Plus area which was under an enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) for two weeks, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) said on Monday.
