All schools to conduct face to face classes in next academic year
The Department of Education (DepEd) says it expects all schools to conduct face to face classes in the next academic year 2022-2023
“By June, which is already a few days away from now, sa next academic school year, ini-expect natin na fully 100% na talaga 'yung pag-implement natin ng face-to-face classes,” says DepEd secretary Briones.
The 100% Briones is pertaining to the opening of all schools, including private ones which the DepEd were previously alarmed by that few private schools hold in-person learning.
Currently, around 73% of public schools have resumed face-to-face classes.

Following the advice of Interior Secretary Eduardo Año, President Rodrigo Duterte ordered the end of E-Sabong activities, noting the cost to society to Filipinos.
According to Duterte, an order prohibiting the use of E-Sabong will be issued by Tuesday.
