They say that if you love someone, fight for him or her. But to what extent? Will you kidnap someone for love?
This is the untold story of Imee Marcos, Tommy Manotoc and Aurora Pijuan.
Late in 1970’s, Aurora Pijuan, the 1970 Miss International Philippines title holder married a golfer and basketball coach named Tommy Manotoc who then had two children named as Mavic and Tomas Manotoc Jr. (also known as TJ Manotoc, a local sportscaster)

Tables were turned around when the country is shocked of the alleged 41 days missing appearance of Tommy Manotoc. According to The New York Times, Tommy’s family had charged that the Marcos family was involved in his disappearance because of their opposition to his marriage to Maria Imelda “Imee” Romualdez Marcos on Dec. 4, 1982 in Arlington. Tommy married her after obtaining a divorce from his first wife, Aurora Pijuan, in the Dominican Republic in October (1982).
On a separate statement of Tommy Manotoc way back in 1982, he said that he was indeed kidnapped by some men from New People’s Army (NPA) after having a dinner with Imelda Marcos (on the day of his abduction) and eventually retrieved with ransom by the Marcos family.
Is it a coincidence? Or a conspiracy between Marcos family and NPA? Also, if you are a family man, why would you have a dinner with a single 26 years old lady that time? (pertaining to Imee Marcos’ age)

Today, Aurora Pijuan stand firm on her ground and stating that she and her children were left behind. In which his ex-husband chose Imee Marcos instead.
