DEVELOPING: This is D-Day for the most powerful nation in the world!
Is Republican’s bet Donald Trump days are numbered, or a fresh start under former US Vice President Joe Biden?—exciting battle, isn’t it?
The much-awaited 2020 US Election is here, and it looks like Americans are divisive on their votes for the head-to-head fight.
As of 2 pm (PH time), Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden holds a slim 10-vote lead over Trump in the race to 270 electoral college votes, according to Reuters.
Polls across America have already closed, but the result is far from decided, and both candidates are predicting a win for themselves as the polls come to a close.
Biden spoke from his home at Delaware shortly after midnight, saying results could take “maybe into tomorrow morning, maybe even longer”.
“We believe we are on track to win this election”, Biden said on Twitter. “It ain’t over until every vote is counted until every ballot is counted,” he said as supporters honked their horns. “We’re feeling real good about Wisconsin and Michigan.”
Meanwhile, Twitter flagged US President Donald Trump's tweet accusing rival Joe Biden's Democrats of trying to 'steal' election.
The social media company said that they placed a warning on a Tweet from Trump for making a potentially misleading claim about an election which is in line with our Civic Integrity Policy.
After his accusation, Trump said on Twitter that he will make a ‘big win’ statement.
The spotlight is on the race for the White House and the world is watching. Non-Americans such as Filipinos are also excited yet nervous about who’s going to make it.
Yes, let’s all wait and keep updated on the latest news from the west side of the world.
