MANILA, Philippines—A group of COMELEC officials went to a private property of a Leni-Kiko supporters in Santiago City, Isabela and dismantled all the campaign materials. The removal of campaign materials is due to alleged oversized campaign posters.
February 16, 2022, Wednesday in the afternoon when the commotion happened. Vice presidential aspirant Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan said in an interview that he felt sorry on what happened since a lot of their supporters lay hold of some campaign materials from their own pockets.

In a separate statement released by election lawyer Atty. Romulo Macalintal, he said that Commission On Elections (COMELEC) has no authority to remove campaign materials inside a private property.
