Heads up, Kapamilya! Your favorite ABS-CBN TV shows will be back on your TV screens starting this Saturday, October 10!
Media giant ABS-CBN officially confirmed on Tuesday, October 6, its broadcast deal with Zoe Broadcasting — a free-to-air channel in Metro Manila and nearby provinces, owned by the family of influential religious founder of Jesus is Lord Church, and Congressman Eddie Villanueva.
ABS-CBN will start airing entertainment shows and movies starting October 10 on the newly rebranded “A2Z” — previously known as Zoe TV Channel 11 — following an agreement to lease airtime from Villanueva’s Zoe Broadcasting Network Inc., according to both companies’ statement on Tuesday.
"ABS-CBN and Zoe are committed to work together to provide entertainment, public service programs, and educational content to the public," the media giant said.
Here’s the list and schedule of Kapamilya shows that will air on A2Z channel:

Meanwhile, Zoe Broadcasting Network’s President and Chairman Sherwin Tugna, refuted its critics’ accusation that ABS-CBN will be featuring obscene programs on their network.
“Zoe Channel 11 TV gets a new name, a new look, and a new journey serving God and the Filipino people. We strive to provide Filipinos with the best type of programming and bring glory to the Lord above.”
He also said that the new A2Z channel will “serve viewers with uplifting and inspiring shows of life, love and hope, educational programs, local and foreign movies.”
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque released a statement on the return of ABS-CBN show to A2Z channel Wednesday, October 10.
"What has happened in ABS-CBN has become a content provider so that's a distinct line of business that does not require a franchise. I guess the fans of "Probinsyano" and other soap operas can look forward to them on Zoe TV."
According to CNN Philippines’ report, ABS-CBN shares witnessed a surprise kick this week — its first recovery in months since its franchise bid was denied by Congress — after rumors of a deal that will bring back its shows on a local TV channel.
Also, ABS-CBN Corporation as well as ABS-CBN Holdings saw their stock prices jump by 50 percent on Monday, amidst reports that some programs of the media giant will be back to TV broadcasts, five months after the network's shutdown.
