The classic basketball game ‘Slam Dunk’ — which was recently voted as the third most popular manga of all time in Japan — is getting a new movie, the series creator himself — Takehiko Inoue broke the exciting news on Twitter this Thursday, January 7.
Takehiko wrote on Twitter to tease fans with a GIF saying “SLAM DUNK” and that it “will be a movie,” which was written in Japanese.

Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube on Wednesday removed US President Donald Trump’s posts addressing the spread of misinformation and violence after supporters stormed the US Capitol.
In a 62-second video posted, Trump repeated his baseless claims that the presidential election had been “stolen" while urging his supporters, who had caused the Capitol to go into lockdown by swarming the House and Senate chambers, to "go home."

Here’s what to know about the “Doktor Para sa Bayan Law”
Good news! To all aspiring doctors out there who want to pursue medicine, you can now get a full scholarship.
Republic Act (RA) No. 11509 or the "Doktor Para sa Bayan Act" was signed by President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday, January 5, that will help "deserving" students pursue medical education and training.
"Qualified applicants from municipalities without government physicians shall be prioritized in the allocation of scholarship slots to ensure the assignment of at least one doctor for every municipality in the country," Duterte ordered.
In return for educational aid, the aspiring doctors will eventually render services in government hospitals...

On January 1, 2021, a 23 year-old PAL flight attendant named Christine Angelica Dacera was found unconscious in a bathtub at the City Garden Hotel located in Makati City by her friend Rommel Galida. Christine was first rushed to the hotel clinic to undergo cardio respiratory resuscitation or CPR by the hotel security manager Peter Paul Poningcos, but still remained unresponsive.
According to the investigation from Makati Police, three friends and hotel staff then rushed Christine to Makati Medical Center but was declared dead-on-arrival due to ruptured aortic aneurysm.
