People have spoken, here’s the best food delivery app in town!

With everyone embracing digital as a ‘vital’ part of our everyday lives, the rise of the online transactions has been evidently increasing as the world has gone into quarantine to combat the spread of COVID-19.

Food delivery service applications are amongst the most in-demand even before lockdown. Truly, these are considered as lifesavers for us Filipinos who can’t just resist food cravings in the middle of a health crisis.

GrabFood, Foodpanda, and LalaFood are some of the most utilized apps these days which undeniably changed the traditional delivery services we used to know. But, among the apps mentioned, what’s the best straight-from-the-restaurant-to-your home food service app in town?

The Lookout website has conducted an online survey last week from a certain number of individuals who are avid users of food delivery services applications; we asked them about what’s the most reliable and convenient one with different criteria provided.

The survey used a ranking-style of response to determine which of the apps has garnered the most number of votes—1 being the highest and 5 is the lowest.

Which is more convenient in terms of food and restaurant variety?

Among the listed applications, Foodpanda has garnered the most number of votes in terms of convenience in food and restaurant variety while Grab Food listed as second and LalaFood in the third rank.

They all have a variety of food and restaurant to choose from, but, it seems like, the way how they cater to the needs of the customers, it will matter and reflect on the image of their brands.

Which app provides more discounts and promo?

In terms of discounts and promos, Foodpanda has placed first while Grab Food and LalaFood tied on the second spot.

Foodpanda and Grab Food’s discounts and promo offers have been enticing more customers since then, and indeed, it’s one of the best marketing strategies they have for these apps.

Which has a cheaper service charge?

Respondents find Foodpanda as a food delivery service application that has the cheapest service charge amongst them all. Grab Food has ranked second and Lalafood on the third spot.

Delivery fees or charges are shown in the app prior to your confirmation of your order and it varies depending on the customer’s location and on its partner restaurants' operating hours. But, it seems like our respondents have voted in unison.

Which has friendly and polite delivery riders? 

With the friendliest and most polite food delivery service application riders, Foodpanda personnel have been offering the most pleasant experience to their customers as no doubt, they ranked number one in this criterion of the survey.

GrabFood and LalaFood were placed on the second and third spots, respectively.

We cannot deny that our food riders are not just the friendliest and most polite workers, but also, the most hard-working ones especially in this time of the pandemic. Kudos to all of our Kuya riders out there who are trying to make the most out of our days!

Overall, It seems like Foodpanda won the hearts of many, not just our respondents, and clearly manifested as the best food delivery service application in town.
