These last few months we’ve been seeing a lot of photos, videos, and write-ups on our social media feeds about baking, and yes, it’s a delight to see this new hobby trend as a source of joy for many.

Baking has been a solace in this pandemic period. The gratifying feeling to produce your own creation relying heavily on measurements and exacting chronology is truly indescribable.
But, it seems like not everyone is naturally-gifted to immediately do the difficult stages of the course, some are just hobbyists who want to try it for the meantime to calm their mind and free away from worries.
For starters, worry no more, here are some of the easiest recipes courtesy of Tasty.com, one of the largest food networks in the world, you all should try at home.
PEANUT BUTTER CUP
The list of ingredients you all need to prepare are the following:
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar, sifted
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter (120 g)
- 1 cup chocolate (170 g), melted
For the preparation, just follow these steps:
- Prepare a cupcake tin with 6 liners.
- Stir peanut butter and powdered sugar together until smooth.
- Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons of chocolate at the bottom of each cupcake liner.
- Scoop 1 to 2 teaspoons of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate.
- Cover each scoop of peanut butter with more chocolate and smooth out the top.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour or until chocolate hardens.
- Remove peanut butter cups from the liners.

Triple Decker 'Box' Brownies Easy Dessert
For ingredients, you'll be needing the following list which is good for 4 servings as suggested by Tasty:
- 16 oz tube of cookie dough (455 g), 1 tube
- 16 chocolate sandwich cookies
- ½ box brownie batter prepared according to package instructions
The preparation is no sweat at all, all you have to do is to follow all these steps for a perfect-baked brownie.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Press the cookie dough in an even layer on the bottom of a 9-inch (23-cm) square baking dish. Place the cookies in an even layer on top of the cookie dough. Pour the brownie batter on top, spreading it evenly over the cookies.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, check its doneness with a toothpick until it comes out clean.
- Cool, slice, then serve.

Cookies & Cream Truffles Easy Dessert
Good for 6 servings, this truffle dessert will be needing the following ingredients:
36 chocolate sandwich cookies
8 oz cream cheese (225 g), softened
12 oz white chocolate (340 g), melted
Just follow these simple steps for your tasty truffles:
- In a food processor, finely crush the cookies, reserving about 2 tablespoons of the mixture for sprinkling on top of the truffles.
- In a large bowl, combine the cookie crumbs and cream cheese, stirring until evenly mixed. Chill the mixture for about an hour or until it can be rolled into a ball and hold its shape.
- Divide and roll the mixture into golf ball-sized shape. Dip the truffles in the melted white chocolate and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle the reserved cookie crumbs on top of the truffles before the chocolate hardens.
