After six years of marriage, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly over. This was confirmed to Page Six by multiple sources who said that the “divorce is imminent.” The source also said that Kim had already hired divorce attorney Laura Wasser and is already “in settlement talks.”

The source added that “Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done."

The lawyer said that Kim is determined to continue her career towards becoming a lawyer and her prison reform campaign that has helped many people over the years, as she proceeds to divorce. The source said “Now this divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot. She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy sh*t, and she’s just had enough of it.”

Kanye, on the other hand, is allegedly fed up with the fame of the Kardashian family. “He wants nothing to do with them,” the source added.

According to another source which E! News reported, the reason why the Hollywood couple proceeded to file for a divorce is that they want to make “the right decision for the kids.”

“It’s gotten to the point where they haven’t spent time together as a married couple in months,” E! News reported. “They’ve seen each other for the sake of the kids but have been living separately. Kim knows the marriage is over. She’s known for a while.”

The former couple’s Calabasas home could be a point of conflict as Kardashian reportedly owns the land while West owns and redesigned the house, which reportedly cost $20 million to have it renovated.

Wasser reportedly prefers to go through a confidential settlement to keep things in private. A source said there are divorce settlement talks already, but dividing the properties has yet to be agreed upon.

Kardashian’s lawyer helped media personalities in getting a divorce in the likes of Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears, Johnny Depp, Laura Dern and Noah Baumbach.

Kardashian and West tied the knot in 2014 and have four children together. As of writing, both have yet to give their statement of their situation regarding the divorce.
