By Jhoemz Vercide 09 Jul 2020 1152

Have you already heard the term ’baby boomer’ which commonly used by tech-savvy and ‘woke’ peeps these days?

Baby Boomer, one of the labels used to categorize the generation or group of people based on their age range, belongs to a demographic group born between 1946 and 1964 who are aged 52 to 70 by this time—the ‘oldies’ are what they say.

Millennials and Gen Z or the younger generations have been engaging in a cold and silent war against the baby boomers in terms of principles and discipline when it comes to the way of living, blame generation gap—this has resulted to the creation of a popular internet-based meme “OK BOOMER,” which was created to dismiss or mock the so-called closed-minded generations. It was also popularized by the social media platform TikTok.
