Ex-couple James Reid and Nadine Lustre shocked the internet world after a photo of the two at the recently concluded Mega Ball 2022 circulated on various social media platforms. Nadine and James had a 'matured breakup' in January of 2020. 

Both attended the mega event of the year, with James who looked dashing in his all-velvet red suit while Nadine in her lustrous black gown complemented by a golden scorpion accessory that wows netizens as she 'understood the assignment' for the Glam Rock theme. 

In the photo that was shared online, the previous on-screen couple striked a pose together with their friends and fellow Caress Music co-artists. The music label is owned by James while Nadine signed to be a managed artist in December of 2019. 

Fans, especially their huge fandom JaDine can't help but put some sparks on the photo of the two together. Despite Nadine  currently in a relationship with non-showbiz French-Filipino Christophe Bariou, fans reminisced about the last ball JaDine shared together as  lovers. In a revived throwback photo  last 2019 at the ABS-CBN Ball, James and Nadine walked the red carpet and posed for  photos while holding hands. 

Comparisons were made between the throwback and the recent photo. Netizens gushed over the oozing love and chemistry during the 2019 ball where Nadine flaunted her own definition of a modern Filipiniana.  On the other hand, matured and professional aura were seen on the ex-lovers during the Mega Ball 2022.  

Now that the two have completely gone on their separate ways revealed that they were truly happy with their own careers and life now.  Nadine, who is in a relationship, is continuing to develop her artistry in the music industry.  Nadine is also present on various environmental causes. James on the other note is also focused on his music career abroad. He also disclosed that he now manages Liza Soberano who is under Ogie Diaz for a long time, who also made noise recently after a break up rumor with Enrique Gil.
