Disney+ today announced that production has begun on “Delusion” (working title), an upcoming live action adaptation of the hit Naver webtoon of the same name, set to release exclusively on Disney+.

“Delusion” (working title) will invite audiences into the world first explored in the hit webtoon as they follow Song Jeonghwa, a vampire in mourning for a love lost decades before. Resigned to live an empty existence, Jeonghwa finds herself surprised when Iho, a painter with a past, shows up and stirs something within her.

Starring Suzy (Start-Up, ANNA) as heartbroken vampire Song Jeonghwa and Kim Seonho (The Tyrant, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha) as Iho the painter, “Delusion” (working title) is directed by Han Jaerim (The Face Reader, The 8 Show).

“Delusion” (working title) is the latest series to be announced as part of an eagerly anticipated slate of upcoming Korean content set to be released on Disney+. Fans of unmissable storytelling can also look forward to Low Life starring Ryu Seungryong; Tempest starring Jun Gianna and Gang Dongwon; Made In Korea starring Hyun Bin and Jung Woosung, as well as a whole host of other incredible series and movies.
