By Faith Estrella 15 Jul 2021 828

“Nakakatamad pumasok! Ayoko na mag online class.”

Have you heard yourself saying that? There is no energy to get out of your bed and set up your devices. Tired of the routine and tons of school activities. Worry no more! Here are the five tips that may help you boost up and attend your online classes.

#1: Coffee or Chocolate

For many years, caffeine and cocoa are proven to heighten up human’s energy. To avoid sleepiness during synchronous online classes, a cup of coffee or chocolate is a must. It also helps in stimulating the brain cells and activating hearing senses.

#2: 20-20-20 Rule

Synchronous online classes usually last from five to eight hours in a day. What an exhaustion right? Primarily, eyes are prone and much exposed to screens or monitors of your devices. Let your eyes rest and try to make this a habit: 20minutes screen time then after that look at a certain thing which is 20 meters away from you and stare on it for 20 seconds. Better if you’ll be looking at something white or green like plants. These colors help the eyes to relax and function well afterwards.

#3: Good music, Good mood!

During asynchronous classes, bulk of school activities and assignments are expected to roll up your bangs. And given that we are in a pandemic, dull time and boring atmosphere can happen while finishing your school stuffs. Slip it away! You can try creating your own playlist.

Pro Tip: There are new OPM songs which you can play and loop with no regrets. Enjoy!

#4: Quick Exercise and Enough Sleep

Boost up your brain by sleeping and exercising! A 10 to 15-minute exercise helps the muscle to perform well. But in order to gain enough energy for that kind of activity, it requires eight hours of sleep. In other words, rest is essential so that your brain and body can work actively during synchronous and asynchronous classes.

5: Don’t Isolate, Communicate!

Online classes are obviously far more different from face to face classes. Less talk on a personal basis which might affect your sanity. Grab the opportunity to engage whenever you’ll be having group activities and other school stuffs. Above this, choose at least two friends or classmates who can help you grow and knows how to listen. Do not isolate yourself. And take good care of your mental health especially in this kind of class set up.

And that’s it! Follow the above list and surely that you’ll be more productive in your online classes.
